good night to observe

Nene finds out who her daddy be and Top Chef New York premiers tomorrow night. This is a good night to have lots of Journal work to do...

But before television, I got to spend some time with my favorite sister duo. They have no idea how much I love just being there around them. I missed being with some of my friends while on the campaign trail. It was like a breathe of fresh air, but napping today probably added to the experience.

Tomorrow I am picking up my niece to spend the day with her. We have never had a whole day together and I am excited to have her over...her commentary alone is worth having a 3 year old around. She loves Icees too, so I think we will be alright...

With some time on my hands, not only is my niece a priority but so is my wreck of a house. One small space done and quite a few more to go. Various other to do's include getting a dress altered, returning unopened boxes, paying bills, etc, etc. I am looking forward to feeling like things are being taken care of before the rush of the holiday season. I am going to attempt to make our house more festive and holiday friendly this year. We are going to have our first tree this year, Mowgli has never had a "real" tree. He was the "boy in a bubble" growing up to keep him alive, but now that he is a healthy MAN he wants a TREE. So a tree we will have...

Faithsalutes the KD Lang concert where my mom said there were lots of ladies in "sensible shoes".
